Cancun has to be one of the most well-known places to visit and is a winning destination when it comes to great beaches and Caribbean charm. There are a number of incredible places to visit very close by:-
Xel-Ha, an aquatic theme park was one of our best days out as a family. This hidden wonder is a place of beauty. Swim and snorkel amongst the tropical fish, zip wire across the water and jump from the cliff of courage five meters above the river. Discover the jungle trails on foot or by bicycle and finish your day with a cerveza in the Jardin Corona Bar!
Chichen Itza, The most famous and spectacular of Mexico's Mayan sites. The Kukulkan Pyramid is known as 'El Castillo' (The Castle), which is one of the new seven wonders of the world and there is no doubt why.
Isla de Mujeres, a beautiful piece of paradise just across the bay from Cancun. Known for white-sand beaches, calm crystal clear, turquoise water, and the friendliest locals in Mexico. More laid back than Cancun but with just as much to keep you entertained. Fill your day with water sports, shopping and exploring or enjoy a visit to Tortuga Farm, a sea turtle sanctuary, also home to tropical fish, seahorses, and manta rays.
Xcaret Park. This remarkable nature park will fill your holiday with the most amazing memories. With 50 natural and cultural attractions, you can swim in underground caves, discover Mayan ruins and be thrilled by the incomparable Xcaret Mexico spectacular show! This was much more than a day trip for us. Our hotel was joined to the park and it meant we could visit whenever we felt like it!
