The Seychelles' 115 islands fall under two distinct groups.  The Inner Islands which are mostly granite, formed mainly around the islands of Mahé, Praslin and La Digue forming the cultural and economic hub of the Seychelles as the centre of its tourism. The outer Islands are situated beyond the Seychelles plateau, these pristine worlds, some little more than sand spits, offer untouched habitats for many species of wildlife.

With this quantity of islands all offering their own versions of paradise, you may want to do little more than relax on the sand.  However, the islands are surrounded by coral reefs and swimming, snorkeling and diving in the warm clear waters are some of the most memorable experiences. This made the Seychelles a perfect "part 2" of our honeymoon; me that is happy to relax on a beach all day and my hubby that loves adventure!
